Veryreliable. I am unaware of the statistical reliability of the gasoline powered cvts by Toyota, however (metal bands/first gear drive + band). Many on reddit have mentioned it is not as reliable as the torque converted equivalents. I would search to find a statistical fail rate on these (say, a 2015 corolla v. 2013 corolla ).
