The game and how the driving physics was made (for trucks), it's simple not made to drive faster than, at top, 100 km/h without having major issues. As been said, this is a trucking game, not a car (or truck-) racing game. Of course, you are free to do whatever you want, WITHIN the hardcoded limit.
Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/profiles/*ProfileNumberFolder*. open config.cfg. scroll down to find -. uset g_trailer_stability "1". uset g_brake_intensity "3". change the brakes to anywhere between 10.5 and 99.9. (with trucks or truck based mods/engines, 10.5 to 45 is probably as sharp as you want to go)
Yup, it is required by law in most (if not all) European countries. Why it's specifically forced on for External contracts is to make it fair play. External job pool is shared by every player, so to make sure everyone has the same chance to complete roughly the same amount, the speed limiter is enforced. #6. Nono54Fr Aug 3, 2015 @ 7:21am. There is the 90kph limit that can be deactivated from the gameplay options. Otherwise, 150-160 is a feasible speed with a loaded truck. #2. Cinek Aug 3, 2015 @ 7:34am. If you play on Multiplayer Mod you can go faster than 110 km/h. You must go to Europe #2 server. There is no speed limit. #3.

Another solution: Just open C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. Open 'config.cfg' with a Text Editor, search for the line "uset g_use_speed_limiter" and make sure to put a "0" next to it. okn2pAi.
